What is AI Servo mode?
Short for Artificial Intelligence Servo Automatic Focusing, AI Servo is Canon’s dedicated focusing mode for moving subjects. It has the ability to track and analyse movement, and focus the image based on where it predicts the subject will be at a given point in time.
Is AI Servo better than AI focus?
AI Servo continuously tracks focus and never locks. Although there are some situations where AI Focus is useful, my personal testing shows that a SIGNIFICANTLY higher percentage of all “moving target” shots are sharper using AI Servo in 99% of situations.
