Why did the Gildarts refuse the 100 year quest?
It owuld make sense for it to involve the Acnologia, the dragon. as, if I am not mistaken, Acnologia was changed to such somewhere around 400 years ago and the 100 year quest means it has not been finished between 100 and 1000 years ago. My guess would be the Gildarts probably refused the offer of becoming one of the Saints.
