Why is it bad to rush your town hall?
It costs a small amount of Gold to search for a base, which is usually not a lot if you’re well-built and can maintain a healthy loot income. If you’re rushed, loot penalty made it difficult to accumulate resources. Matchmaking could normally take all of the Gold away before even finding a good base to attack.
