Where can you park for free at UNT?
Denton Med Park Station
UNT offers a FREE Park and Ride in cooperation with the Denton County Transportation Authority. Staff and students may park at the Denton Med Park Station and ride the Colorado Express route into campus. Check schedule for times, as it may take 20 minutes or more to get to campus.
How much is a parking ticket at UNT?
The first citation may cost $12, as well as the second citation. A third citation costs $35, and a fourth is $70. Some violations, such as, game day towing, stolen permits or parking in a reserved ADA space will result in higher fees.
Does UNT allow freshmen for cars?
As a new student, there is a strong chance that you will have your own vehicle as part of your growing independence. This means that you will need a place to put your vehicle as you attend classes at UNT.
How late do UNT buses run?
Hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 pm to 2 am each day, and Friday through Sunday from 4 pm to 2 am each day. Call for an E-ride at 940-565-3014. This service is open only to UNT students ages 18 and older.
Do freshmen have to live on campus at UNT?
UNT policy requires first year undergraduate students to live on campus. A student that graduated from high school the semester prior to enrolling at UNT and is enrolled for 9 or more semester hours is subject to that policy.
Where do I get my UNT ID?
ID Systems is located on the 1st floor of the Eagle Student Service Center (ESSC) on the Denton campus at the Student Financial Services office, room 105. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. When is the best time to park at UNT?
If you have a UNT parking permit then you can park in F/S parking spaces from 5:30 pm to 7 am Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. This may allow you to park closer to residence halls and other campus buildings.
How much does it cost to Park in the UNT garage?
UNT community members who are eligible to purchase a garage access card may do so through the UNT Parking Portal. Visitors may also park in the Highland Street Garage for $2 per hour, max rate of $16 per day. Lost ticket cost: $16. Lost access card cost: $25.
