Is it bad to have a gap in your resume?
Lying about your resume gap is a really, really bad idea. Don’t change the dates of employment so it looks like you’re still working at the company or shift them so it seems like you have a shorter gap. Employers can verify your career history, and you could get fired for lying on your resume.
Can I get a job after 2 years of gap?
Though getting a job after a long gap and no experience is difficult but not impossible. You can attend walk-in interviews, some companies don’t consider the year of passing. If you have good skills (which I am not sure you would have after such a long gap), you can start working as a freelancer.
Do year back students get job?
Yes of course ,but one should never give up fist of all some companies have some policy like that make such student not eligible to attend there recruitment . But there are companies which don’t bother about it after all after the experience no one is going to ask you about past.
Can I clear my B Tech backlog papers after 8 years?
Every university provide 7 year to complete your graduation degree, if anyone is not able to clear there backlogs within the 3 years duration then the university will award them with NFTE i.s.(NOT FIT FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION). University provides 7 years to complete your graduation degree.
How are backlogs counted?
In other words, if you cleared 1 subject in 3 attempts, the number of backlogs would be ‘3’. Similarly, if you had backlogs in 2 subjects, 1 of which you cleared 2 attempts and the other in 3 attempts, then the total number of backlogs would be counted at (2+3=5).
Do dead backlogs matter?
Dead backlogs usually doesn’t cause hindrances in sitting for placements but, its all dependent on the no. of candidates available and the vacancy they want to fill up.
Are backlogs mentioned in degree?
If you are experinced professional then only your current job profile matters. However many companies don’t have any such requirements, so no worries. Not in Final Degree. Job- Not all but some companies mostly top rated do have strict requirements of minimum marks and no backlog.
What if I get a backlog?
If you get a backlog, you’ll have to clear it in the next year . if you get it in 1st sem, you give it in 3rd sem. That backlog exam will take place in the middle of your exams of 3rd sem, so you’ll not get time to study for it, or the next exam .

Does backlogs affect placement?
Some companies allow 1 Active backlog while others allow only passive backlogs. A generous Company like TCS sometimes allows 1 year drop in campus placements. But an eligibility criteria only decides if you’re eligible to sit for the Aptitude Test or not. Backlogs doesn’t really matter in the later stages.
