What should I engrave on my 80% lower?
In California, use your approved USNA and assigned serial number to engrave your receiver or frame. Engravings must include the serial number, model, your name, and where you made your weapon (city, state).
Can you engrave a lower receiver?
According to the law, you can engrave the frame, receiver or the barrel of your rifle. However, for the AR 15, we usually recommend that you engrave the lower receiver. This allows you to change upper receivers without having to go through the engraving procedure all over again.
Do you have to stamp an 80% lower?
