Do Autopots increase yield?

How does the AutoPot work?

Autopots are an all-in-one cultivation system that use gravity pressure to fill tubs with water/fertilizer solution. The plants sit over the top of this tub in special pots that are designed to help the plant wick water up from the tub, thus watering and feeding the plant with minimal interaction from the grower.

What nutrients to use with Autopots?

There are many types of growing media that can be used as well as nutrients. Coco Coir on its own or mixed with perlite, pumice, or rice hulls has proven to work great. Mineral based nutrients like Canna, General Hydroponics, or Emerald Harvest work well if you prefer the hydroponic approach.

Can you use soil with Autopots?

The choice of substrates and blends of substrates with AutoPot is endless, the following are good guidelines and have been trailed and tested, Coco / Perlite, Coco / Clay Pebbles, Soil /Perlite, Soil / Clay Pebbles, Rockwool / Clay Pebbles.

Can you use soil in Autopots?

Many of our customers like the versatility of the Autopot. We have had customers use their own super soil mix (soil that has high organic nutrient/biology content), which allowed them to just use water in the reservoir throughout the entire growing cycle.

How do you clean a hydroponic system?

Fill your system with regular water and your choice of sterilizing solution (Hydrogen peroxide or bleach). Fill to just over your regular water level, as this will cover the line where algae growth can occur build up. Let your system run and circulate for between 4-6 hours.
