Are the new census numbers released?
The U.S. Census Bureau will release the congressional apportionment population counts and number of representatives for each of the 50 states. The Census Bureau is processing responses and assessing quality as we work toward releasing the 2020 Census results.

According to the “72-Year Rule,” the National Archives releases census records to the general public 72 years after Census Day. As a result, the 1930 census records were released April 1, 2002, and the 1940 records were released April 2, 2012. The 1950 census records will be released in April 2022.

When do the 2020 Census estimates come out?
The latest full vintage available is the Vintage 2019 estimates series. The Vintage 2020 estimates were released on a rolling basis from December 2020 to June 2021. These estimates are based on the 2010 Census and are created without incorporation or consideration of the 2020 Census results.
