Does Subcision really work?

A small 2005 study investigated the use of subcision to treat rolling acne scars among 40 participants. The researchers reported that although the scars were not completely healed, 90 percent of patients reported an improvement in the appearance of their scars.

How quickly does Subcision work?

Results from subcision may be apparent immediately after treatment but will continue to improve. Most patients will only treat one area of scarring at a time to reduce side effects. Treatments are spaced out 1 month apart over the course of 3 months to 2 years depending on the needs of the patient.
