What do I need to open a TSB account?
In addition to proof of identity, such as passport, birth certificate or adoption certificate, and proof of your address, or a letter from your university or college confirming your place, and bring it along with your other identity and address verification documents to your local branch.

The banks and building societies who currently offer open banking are:

Why can’t I access TSB online?

Is the TSB app safe?
The new TSB app won’t run on rooted, or jailbroken, devices. These devices override some of the safeguards in an operating system so could leave it more vulnerable to an attack by things like malware, which means your data could be more at risk.
Do you have to have a TSB account to open a bank account?
Enjoy straightforward banking without any of the fancy extras with the TSB Cash account. This account is only suitable if you’re not eligible for any of our other current accounts and don’t have another UK bank account. Our current accounts are covered by the TSB Fraud Refund Guarantee.

Is the TSB Bank Open on a Saturday?
Some branches open on a Saturday to offer support on your more complex enquiries, such as discussing accounts or specific help you may need with your finances. Many of these branches have automated cash and cheque deposit and cash machine facilities so our counter service will not be available on a Saturday.
