Lovely long muddy walk with the dog. Varied terrain throughout. Spectacular views at the top, weather dependent. Can be done in either direction, but the far side of the Wrekin is significantly steeper.
Is the wrekin a difficult walk?
Be prepared for the trip down (no pun intended), it’s steep and precarious. I highly recommend this walk. First attempt to do Wrekin 4 times as one route, going 4 different paths up and down. Some parts on the North slope were quite challenging.
